Unfinished Repairs by Neko-Emi Unfinished Repairs by Neko-Emi
Challenge!
:iconbaranoshiko: and I are doing pictures based on a challenge from the other.

Mine was from two pages on wings, and one on long trains/leg positioning.

Ooooh! I really like the detail in the wings! They are an awesome mix between mechanical and organic. There are a few anatomy issues that bother me, but that's okay because it seems like your first time drawing this type of pose. Good job!

Thanks! That was really what I wanted to draw--the rest was just necessary extra.

Anatomy issues? Critique is good! I'm going without major critiquing, so I'd love to hear yours.

Okay, uh. Her shoulder that's closest to the viewer is really far forward, it probably wouldn't have as much of a line excentuating it either. The thumbs on both hands start a bit far away from the rest of her fingers. Her chin seems really stiff, like her whole body is arched like that and its not her head looking up. That can be fixed if you connect the line from her chin down to her neck. Her neck is also rather long. Okay, I hope that wasn't too long. I hope it helped too!

Yay! Thank you!
Which line from her chin? Definitely helped!

The line that continues going upward towards her ear ^w^ I'm glad!

Yay!! By the way ... did you realize that you gave me the page on urban style AND the pages on Victorian glamour? Which are complete opposites?
